Aaah, nothing like a little OC love to lighten one's mood. Orin's hair looks different each time I make him as a pony, I swear.It's funny, my original concept for Orin was a sleep deprived, blue-maned pale yellow-coated unicorn jerk who used dark magic a little too many times. Kind of went in the opposite direction, no?


To the other kids in School he's known as the one who utterly refuses to cut his hair. 

"No!" He'd say. "I want it to be like my Mom's." 

He has two Moms, actually. One's just dead, and had particularly long hair and bangs. The other one was Mom #1's best friend, and possibly something more. Sterling Silver, Mom #2, would tell Orin of stories of his courageous mother, Morningstar Gleam, and why the heck she called herself Nuri. Following that, the kid preferred to call himself Orin, as opposed to Evenstar, his actual name. 

Sometimes he does things that remind Sterling so strongly of Nuri, like reading from forbidden books of eldritch horror.
